Fun Food Friday!

This is our FIRST POST of the Grade Three year!  We have been working hard and learning lots in Grade Three this year, but of course, also enjoying our Fun Food Fridays!!!  Today, we first read the book, A Wish To Be A Christmas Tree, and then made our own edible trees from ice cream cones, icing, coconut flakes and fruit loops!  It was soooo fun!

Fun Food Friday Flowers

We have been studying plants, so for our Fun Food Friday activity today, we had to follow instructions to make a flower we could eat!  There was NO TALKING ALLOWED!  We could only read the instructions and look at the picture cues!  We did awesome, and they were so so good!

Seeds and Stuffies!

We have been learning about seeds in our Grade One classroom!  We put some seeds in a baggie and hung them in our window.  We are watching over the next few weeks how our seeds will grow!  Will they grow best with No Sun and No Water, No Sun but With Water, With Sun but No Water, or With Sun and With Water?
We are also learning about measurement in our classroom.  Recently, we brought our stuffies to school and we had to find someone else's stuffy that was wider, taller, shorter, longer, and narrower than our own stuffy!

Our Animal Reports

Our class has been working on animal reports for the last two weeks. These reports were the final project on our Animal Unit in Science. Mrs. Krasowski, Mrs. Marques and Mrs. Nesbitt are very proud of all the students hard work. Thank-you to all parents for helping your child research. If you are looking to see your child's report, please visit the students blogs. There you will find all the students oral presentations.
